Membership Information

As an AMRC member, you will receive the AMRC newsletter every three months and email bulletins when urgent news breaks, when something comes up that demands action and about upcoming events.

The AMRC office in Guelph is open five days a week to answer your questions and respond to your emails

The annual general meeting is held in May, along with a golf tournament. The fall workshop is held in October. Other workshops are held during the year.

Most AMRC activities are organized by its five committees: the Markets, Operations & Contracts Committee; the Organics Committee; the Household Hazardous Waste Committee, the Policy and Programs Committee (formerly the Waste Minimization Committee) and the Finance Committee. These committees hold meetings about three or four times per year. Project or workshop subcommittees generally work via teleconferences.

Municipal membership fees range from $85 to $995 per year, based on population.
Corporate membership fees are $300 per year.

The AMRC’s team of experienced and well-informed professionals has undertaken research and data collection, developed promotional campaigns, facilitated meetings and provided advice for numerous governmental and corporate clients. We also do newsletters, reports, advertisements and brochures.
